It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I have used it once so far (waiting for temps to drop) and would recommend it. My fire pit has a dirt floor so I put flat bricks under each leg to keep it from sinking over time and would recommend you do the same if your could sink. I had several large logs on it and it held them fine. The only negative I have to say about it, is that it was a couple of inches taller. It may not be an issue for you, but because I have dirt floor and where intake air openings are, a couple inches would allow my pit to draw better.
